The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra is honored to share that our Director of Music, Dr. Thomas E. Rainey, has been recognized as one of eight national finalists in the prestigious American Prize in Conducting!
From The American Prize website, the American Prize is a series of new, non-profit, national competitions designed to recognize and reward the very best in the performing arts in the United States—in schools and churches, and at community and professional levels”.
In addition, the orchestra was honored as a semi-finalist in the categories of Programming and Performance.
Our beloved Composer-In-Residence received a semi-finalist designation in the Composer competition as well.
