The Williamson County Symphony Orchestra (WCSO) will open its 2013-2014 season with two FREE concerts on October 18 and 19.

Friday, October 18

Both concerts start at 7:30 PM , presenting the same pieces:

  • Finale from Symphony #88 – Joseph Haydn
  • China Doll – Leroy Anderson – popularized by the Boston Pops
  • Classical Jukebox – Leroy Anderson – a fun send-up of familiar tunes
  • Jurassic Park – John Williams – back by popular demand!
  • Where is Love – Dr. M. L. Daniels – WCSO’s own Composer-in-Residence
  • Wedding Dance – Jaques Press – a lively celebration
  • Gabriel’s Oboe – Ennio Moricone, from the movie The Mission
  • Seventeen Come Sunday – Ralph Vaughn-Williams
  • Balli il Tarantella – an impressive arrangement of familiar Italian folk music
